*ini makin sugih (kaya):* Sugih announces third successful discovery at the Lemang block *Flow rates from Akatara-2 appraisal well indicate 2,300 BOPD and 5.4 MMSCFD* Jakarta, 19 February 2014 – PT Sugih Energy Tbk (“Sugih” or “the Company”) announces a successful oil and gas discovery at the Akatara-2 appraisal well at the Lemang PSC block (“Lemang block”) located in Sumatra, Indonesia. On 17 February 2014, the operator of the Lemang block confirmed the completion of well testing at the Akatara-2 appraisal well. Drill Stem Test (“DST”) results yielded positive results, with initial flow rates of up to 2,300 Barrels Oil Per Day (“BOPD”) with 32.3°-36.5° API gravity and 5.4 Million Standard Cubic Feet Per Day (“MMSCFD”) of natural gas. The Akatara-2 well has since been temporary suspended as an oil and gas discovery. The discovery at the Akatara-2 well marks the third successful oil and gas discovery at the Lemang block, as, on 6 May 2013, Sugih announced that the operator encountered 274 feet of gross pay at the Akatara-1 exploration well, with initial flow rates of 11.0 MMSCFD and 380 Barrels of Condensate Per Day (“BCPD”). Previously, on 28 December 2012, the Company announced the successful discovery at the Selong-1 exploration well, in which the operator encountered 222 feet of gross pay, with initial flow rates of 790 BOPD and 16.8 MMSCFD. The aggregate initial flow rate of the Selong-1, Akatara-1 and Akatara-2 wells stands at approximately 9,500 Barrels Oil Equivalent Per Day (“BOEPD”). Given the positive DST results and commercial flow rates from the Selong-1, Akatara-1 and Akatara-2 exploration wells, Sugih will now work with the operator of the Lemang block to make preparations for commencement of commercial production (“COCP”) and will submit the plan of development (“POD”) to the relevant authorities in due course.
