*About Instructor : *Ir. Benyamin Sapiie*, holds his Ph.D. degree in
structural geology from Department of Geological Sciences The University of
Texas at Austin, USA. He is An Associate Professor and Research Scientist
Responsible for the teaching and the evaluation of Fundamental Geology ,
Structural Geology and Tectonics in ITB. He was invited as visiting
Professor for two semesters at Department of Nuclear Sciences and
Engineering MIT in 2009. He has a lot of experiences in Structure and
tectonics for All Indonesian Area, Geomechanics and Sandbox modeling and
fault analysis. He received the 2001 Best paper and speaker in IAGI 28th
Annual Convention, then in 2002 also received Best Speaker in IAGI 31st
Annual Convention, IPA Annual Conference 2007, 2009 and the best paper
Geology in 34th IPA annual convention 2010. As a professional, he holds
membership from IPA, IAGI, GSA, FOSI, AAPG, and AGU. He is an instructor in
many courses related to structure and tectonics for some oil company and
organization in Indonesia.

  *About Instructor : *DR.  Budi P. Kantaatmadja, * holds his PhD from
Texas A&M University, USA. He has experiences in the field of Geology  started
after he received his Geology engineering, from Bandung Institute of
 Technology. He has  also served as graduate teaching  assistant and
research assistant at Texas A&M University (1988-1990). In 1991 , he
started his professional career and did various project in many countries
i.e. Indonesia, Gulf Mexico, Canada, Middle East, South America and West
Africa. In his professional career, he has more than 25 years experience as
a petrophysicist in oil and gas industry, including proficient expertise in
geology and reservoir engineering knowledge, with Mobil Oil Indonesia,
Exxon Mobil USA, and Petronas PMU  in Malaysia in both conventional
(clastic and carbonate) and unconventional (fractured, shale gas, shale
oil) resources/reservoirs. Because of his expertise in formation evaluation
/analysis using well-data, currently he is a vice president of Formation
Evaluation Society of Malaysia (FESM). He got "Best Paper on Thinly Bedded
Reservoir" and "Active Technical Contributor  in Petrophysics Society
Malaysia" from SPE and SPWLA Conference in Abu Dhabi, Uni Emirate Arab, May
2014.

*About Instructor :* Imam B. Sosrowidjojo, Ph.D*. is a senior principal
research scientist of both geochemistry and unconfensional gas technologies
for LEMIGAS. Imam has been appointed as Project Director of the first ever
Coalbed Methane (CBM) Development in Indonesia (2003 - 2007). He has held
various professional positions within LEMIGAS. He has a project director as
well as pilot designer of the first CBM field in Indonesia, the Rambutan
field Imam obtained his first degree in Chemical Engineering from the
Diponegoro University, Central Java, Indonesia and a Ph.D. in Petroleum
Geochemistry from the Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia.
He has join LEMIGAS for the last 29 continuously. He conducts research and
consulting in petroleum exploration & production geochemistry and CBM and
shale gas developments. In addition, he wrote numerous technical reports
ang several articles on petroleum geochemistry, petroleum system and CBM
exploration in Indonesia.

*About Instructor : *Made D. Sulitra* graduated from Geology Department
Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta early 1981 and joined Mud-Logging Exlog
(Exploration Logging Company), a Singapore-based Company specializing in
South East Asia drilling operations, as a Pressure Engineer. During this
time, developed best drilling practices for Baong-shale(Arun Gas Field) and
Semberah-shale(Badak Gas Field) over-pressure. Since 1984, experiences in
the oilfield cover a broad range, which includes three Major Oil Companies
(Mobil Oil Indonesia Inc., ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia Inc., PetroChina
International Jabung Ltd.) and Medium to Marginal sizes of Oil Companies
(Niko Resources, Orchard Energy, Samudra Energy, Anchora Energy). I had
worked from venture to mature field development, with responsibilities that
elevates up to general manager positions. Technically, main expertise is in
Operations Geologist, Production Geology and Mature Field Geology under
clastic and non-clastic reservoir exercises. Overseas assignments include
Mobil Dallas Technology Center (1996-99) under EPC Ras-Laffan Giant Gas
Field in Qatar as an Operations Geologist, ExxonMobil Exploration Company
(2001-2006) Houston Texas for Gulf of Mexico, and African Deep water wells
plus Onshore US Production as latest position as a Team Lead Operations
Geologist. My current job is Ops Geologist Advisor and I am also founder of
P.T. GEOTAMA Geologist Consultants, Company consisting experienced
Indonesian wellsite geologists.

*About Instructor : *Awang Harun Satyana* is a VP Management
Representative  of SKK Migas (Government of Indonesia Special Task Force
for Upstream Oil and Gas Business) for Pertamina EP. He graduated from the
Geology Department of the University of Padjadjaran, Bandung in 1989. He
worked for PERTAMINA from 1990-2002  assigned various positions as
Exploration Geologist and Regional Geologist.  Since 2002, Awang joined
BPMIGAS and has assigned various technical and managerial positions, in
November 2012  BPMIGAS was dismissed and replaced by SKK Migas. Awang has
actively serviced international and national geological societies by
contributing papers, articles, keynote talks, guest lectures and courses.
There have been totally 309 publications he made (87 full papers for
conferences, 54 articles for journals, 131 invited presentations, keynotes
and guest lectures, 31 course manuals, 6 chapters in six books). Several of
his papers got awards as the best papers and presentations. As appreciation
for his great contribution and dedication to geosciences, “Lasut Award”
from IAGI and "HAGI Award" from HAGI were awarded to Awang in 2002 and
2008, respectively. Awang is so far the only Indonesian geologist assigned
by the AAPG (American Association of Petroleum Geologists) to be the
Associate Editor for the AAPG Bulletin (during 2006-2007). Awang is a
member of IAGI (Indonesian Association of Geologists), IPA (Indonesian
Petroleum Association), AAPG (American Association of Petroleum
Geologists), HAGI (Indonesian Association of Geophysicists), and IATMI
(Indonesian Society of Petroleum Engineers). Awang has taught professional
courses on various subjects for the last ten years, including: petroleum
geology of Indonesia, petroleum geochemistry, petroleum system analysis,
and tectonics and structure. Strong knowledge on many subjects and wide
experience on many basins in Indonesia will provide him a good command of
teaching this course.


*Registration and Tuition fee*

For registration you must submit the registration form maximum 10 days
before workshop. Tuition fee are transferable but not refundable.
Notification is required to substitute another participant, no later 5
working days prior to the program, should the nominated person be unable to
attend. Late cancellation sometimes causes event to be abandoned. Non
attendance participant will be full charged as all preparations will have
been done. For your information, workshop can be cancelled if participants
less than 7 persons and we will inform the cancellation maximum 5 days
before.
