Please don't even think of it!!! It drives me really crazy to edit some members with lrec longer then my emulator settings. Try to insert some data e.g. a longer path name into etc/profile using ISPF edit.

Please try to insert a new directory like /usr/lpp/db2/db2810/test/jcc/classes I always end up using a change command.
