Working at an ISV, I _had_ to create a non-JCL solution for the task of unraveling our distribution package which consists of a netdata pds which contains netdata members for each target pds. We ship some trivial JCL and a clist. (Why clist? Because it's nigh on impossible to automate RECEIVE in REXX! RECEIVE is *broken* as designed. Grrr.) One customer who used really long dataset prefixes for the dist libs and the target libs got a JCL error because the parm to invoke the reload clist exceeded 100 characters. AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGHHHHHH. Hey, wait, this isn't the "PARM=" thread! Or is it? /Leonard ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
