I can see the reason, and it's one we are grateful for. 24 x 7 operations. But I also don't like the fact that DATACOM is the underlying software to make it possible (but then again, I don't like IDMS being the OLTP for CA-Dispatch either). I'm not sure why the CMT was not just changed from PDS to PDSE, but without some sort of DBMS what could have been done with the VSAM JEHF file?
