A continuation character is not needed in column 72. There is a "trailing comma" after the "programmer name field". This is sufficient for the JCL interpreter to "think" that you are continuing the JOB card on the next card. If you are not, you get this error. Remove comma after the "programmer name field" if you only have a single card image for this JOB.
