These issues are not new - all the "joined" complexes (APs and MPs) showed
the same problem.
Attempts were even made to amerliorate this (in the field) via CPU affinity.
Running on the "wrong" (i.e. attached) processor on an AP involved
significant overhead.
The effect can be best seen by comparing the MIP rating of a (partitionable)
MP with it's component "halves".
