Is there any documentation on the format of a file
created by the logical dataset copy of vsam files?
We would like to extract the VSAM attributes directly
from the logical backup.
What is the value of extacting the VSAM attributes from the DSS backup
if you can't restore the data?
Your DR site must not be a commercial site, as I expect all commercial
DR sites to be licensed for all the backup software commonly required by
their customers. But if your backups are DSS, how are you going to
restore anything at all, including system volumes?
