That is nice for us users. But eventually someone will probably
want CPU checking after they realize you've lost hundreds of
thousands of dollars due to illegal usage of your product(s).

One would hope that most (especially large) companies would be ethical enough
that this is not an issue.
After lawsuits from a few years ago, even CA doesn't zap you.
But, products like PKZIP for MVS does enforce it all.
What I have also discovered is that more vendors are forgiving in Canada than
the US.
Is that from our natural politeness and honesty? (8-{]}
(Or legislation?)
