We are a merger.
And we have HSMs with CDSQ=YES & CDSR=YES serialization and without any
CDSQ & CDSR specification.
According to the 1994 HSM apar OY40882 (about RESERVE and GLOBAL ENQ
INTERLOCKing...),
CDSQ=YES & CDSR=YES works with GRS/MII serialization
while CDSQ & CDSR being not specified works with RESERVE.
So I'll have the HSM guys look into this. It looks to me as if the HSMs
themselves are negatively impacting each other, the only data set on the
voilume being the OCDS with it's VVDS, VTOCINDEX & VTOC.

Thanks for all your help & fingerpointing!
