If all you're doing is changing the OFFSET (which is all that should ever be done, but let's not restart _that_ discussion), then why IPL at all? A SET CLOCK command should suffice. To compensate, many of the other products go hohum it's MVS and hash a value based on the offset for transferring data or scheduling events. They have to be repoked when the offset changes or else prints can't be sent, events won't be scheduled and nobody can log on. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
