I think it's Windows Key-K (or something like that). But a lot of
keyboards don't have Windows keys (good!), and it's obscure anyway. There
are also some differences between Windows versions, with XP arguably going
backwards in this area. It's easy enough to *add* a padlock icon to the
task bar so it's readily available ("rundll32.exe
user32.dll,LockWorkStation"), but it's not there by default.
For the record, in OS/2 pre-Warp 4 it was generally fastest to right click
on the desktop and then left click on the Lock Desktop menu option
(usually two clicks). I think the LaunchPad (2.1, 3) also had a lockup
button (single click). With Warp 4 onward the WarpCenter (available with
the Lotus SmartSuite prior to Warp 4) has a lock icon that requires only a
single click, and by default it's (almost) always on screen. It was
possible to set the password to null (via a MAKEINI command, I believe,
and only after a reboot) but not easy to recover the password.
