Generally, we do them weekly here if there are changes that require.  Sometimes 
we skip a week for various reasons.  We rarely go more than two weeks though.

The hospital I used to work at didn't like scheduled downtime, so they tended 
to IPL only when necessary.  Sometimes it would be well over a month between.  
One side effect of this we discovered was that the longer JES2 had been up, the 
longer it took to come down completely after $PJES2.  I'm not sure if that 
problem still exists.
