Steve (C), if you still need a newsserver, there are a number of totally free newsservers around on the internet, no subscription needed, usually no posting allowed, but you don't need this since you must post via email. If you need one, Google for "free newsservers", there are lists maintained by hobbiests (as there are hobbiests for anything you can think of on the internet). At the moment I use 204.153.244.171 already for a year or so.
