OK, here is the output from the Z/OS 1.4 system: BPXF041I 2005/06/28 08.42.30 MODIFY BPXOINIT,FILESYS=DISPLAY,GLOBAL SYSTEM LFS VERSION ---STATUS--------------------- RECOMMENDED ACTION ENGI 1. 1. 6 VERIFIED NONE SAND 1. 4. 3 VERIFIED NONE CDS VERSION= 2 MIN LFS VERSION= 1. 1. 6 BRLM SERVER=N/A DEVICE NUMBER OF LAST MOUNT= 145 MAXIMUM MOUNT ENTRIES= 500 MOUNT ENTRIES IN USE= 17 MAXIMUM AMTRULES= 50 AMTRULES IN USE= 2 DISTBRLM ENABLED=YES DISTBRLM ACTIVE=YES BPXF040I MODIFY BPXOINIT,FILESYS PROCESSING IS COMPLETE.
And here is the OS/390 2.10 system: BPXF041I 2005/06/28 08.43.54 MODIFY BPXOINIT,FILESYS=DISPLAY,GLOBAL 563 SYSTEM LFS VERSION ---STATUS--------------------- RECOMMENDED ACTION ENGI 1. 1. 6 VERIFIED NONE SAND 1. 4. 3 VERIFIED NONE CDS VERSION= 2 MIN LFS VERSION= 1. 1. 6 BPXF040I MODIFY BPXOINIT,FILESYS PROCESSING IS COMPLETE. BRLM SERVER=N/A DEVICE ID OF LAST MOUNT= 145 Last night we IPL'd the programming LPAR. The other two Lpars lost their HFS's when the BPXSTOP STC was running. This caused an IPL of the production LPAR (not a good thing). At this time, the systems LPAR (Z/OS 1.4) still has no HFS's mounted and needs to be IPL'd. -----Original Message----- From: Robert Justice <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Jun 27, 2005 7:01 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: HFS dismount I ran with SHARED HFS under OS/390 2.9 and didn't run into problems. can you give a little more detail, like a D OMVS,F and which HFS's are being unmounted that shouldn't be?
