Last night we IPL'd the programming LPAR. The other two Lpars lost their HFS's
when the BPXSTOP STC was running. This caused an IPL of the production LPAR
(not a good thing). At this time, the systems LPAR (Z/OS 1.4) still has no
HFS's mounted and needs to be IPL'd.

I ran with SHARED HFS under OS/390 2.9 and didn't run into problems.

can you give a little more detail, like a D OMVS,F and which HFS's are
being unmounted that shouldn't be?

What does F BPXOINIT,FILESYS=D,GLOBAL show you?
