I think Ted is pretty well on the money.
We tried defined capacity on one of our clients from day 1 - cost
containment attempt.
End of year processing demanded a few more MSUs got thrown at the Prod
LPARs.
Worked out pretty well.
Cost went up, but was known in advance. Business units knew about it, and
agreed to pay.
Got wound back as things flattened out.
