Eric,

I don't recall if the feature was standard in Resource Manager that long
ago, but it certainly has been standard for the last two generations of our
storage, If the feature was the Resource Manager Software, then you are
missing a bit more than just CVS volumes.

In fact I have a 9910 and a 9960 at customer sites in Singapore and Malaysia
where I use the CVS feature to carve up some of the 3390-3 volumes into
3390-1 and 3390-2 volumes. They needed this because this was how they billed
their customers. As far as I recall they only have the Resource Manager
software.
