Sometimes it depended on what was *in* the release. I finished 2.4 and was 
ready to roll it across. Then I got wind of the TCPIP improvements in 2.5 and 
got it back to the same state in three weeks.

yea, 6 months was sort of a bit much for an o/s release, most people didn't 
do that anyway.
