IPL is usually done to make some changes effective, so IMHO it is good
idea to read syslog after IPL.
For some kind of automatization it would be feasible to prepare some
tool finding suspected meesages in the syslog and reporting it.
In this case (missing entries in lnklst) it is possible to fix it
without another IPL.
