DVIPA = Dynamic VIPA, however there is also Distributed DVIPA.  Not having a
sysplex, I haven't concerned myself with either.

I know what VIPA is.
I couldn't find DVIPA when I searched the IBM Site.

I'm guessing that D stands for distributed, and I think I understand that
concept.

Of course, I could be wrong.
Especially, since I have never been in a shop small enough to have not
split network and OS out.


(I thought I was wrong once; it turned out I was mistaken)
