I am enjoying this thread; it is nice to see I'm not the only one who doesn't know how all the PQs, UQs, FMIDs, etc. fit together. I like SMPE, but I don't know of any single place where all the whys and wherefores of this stuff are explained. Maybe it exists, but I haven't seen it. (That said, I do remember a post a good while back where someone on the list tried to make it all comprehensible, but I can't find it in the archives.)

There is now a whole bunch of trouble trying to install a new FMID into the system because all this service is missing.
