It is my understanding (and I might be wrong) that even with GDPS we might
have outages. With GDPS we can achieve near continuous availability, but
this is not the same as "full continuous availability".

One would think that "full continuos availability" is just an ideal, i.e.
it's not achievable, but it can be asymptotical achievable (as much
availability as we want).

BTW, I just want to let my top manager knows the real scope of GDPS. I can
see GDPS in the near future in my company, but I don't want to create
false expectations.

And, as you know, availability depends upon the requestor needs.

"Expectations close our senses to the reality". I want to avoid this
killer fact in my company.
