I believe that SMFDUMP was distributed as part of one of the CPAC
distributions for z/OS in its early days. I do not think SMFDUMP is being
distributed with any of the new releases.

SMFDUMP is not the same as IFASMFDP.

SMFDUMP interrogates which of the MANx data sets needs to be dumped and then
invokes IFASMFDP under the covers.

Make an alias to the program in a current linklisted dataset.

Subject: SMF Under Zos 1.4

On our os390 2.10 system we used a program called SMFDUMP as the program
name in some of our SMF jobs, we also used IFASMFDP which is the correct
program name. I don't remember setting this up specificaly. Now on zos 1.4
we get program not found for SMFDUMP. Are we missing something in the
linklist or what?

Thanks.
