Thanks for your reply. I assume you are using the supplied ISGNQXIT to allow reserves for volumes shared outside the SYSPLEX. We actually plan to share all DASD but the systems of the original 2 SYSPLEXes would continue to use their original datasets. As far as couple datasets, that would be the one set of datasets that all systems would share. We plan to have one SYSPLEX and so they would all use the same couple datasets and be part of the same GRSPLEX. This is the first stage to achieve single SYSPLEX pricing but we would then look at further exploitation of parallel SYSPLEX for data sharing and disaster recovery.
