Glad you corrected that because I use Firefox and I know it doesn't have
newsgroup reader! Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with Thunderbird, so I
can't offer any setting suggestions. However, I think someone noted that
you may have read only access to your free news provider. Google the only
free news provider I know of that you read and post from. However, it
is web based. I would guess that is your problem.
