Hi List - I have a few questions for those who have gotten caught in
this situation. I have 2 systems, test and production LPARs that are on
2.10. I also have a 1.4 system in my sandbox. I inadvertently
activated the 2.10 SMS SCDS under 1.4 and receive the "Uplevel CDS"
warning message shown below. In testing on my DR box, I have
unassociated the 1.4 system from the CDS, and done several test
activations with the 2.10 system. The message keeps coming up.
Here are my questions:
1. Since I have done at least one activation using the 1.4 system, will
this message keep coming up?
2. Does this actually hurt anything if I did not make any modifications
using the 1.4 system? I have only done the activation to the 1.4
system, no modifications. Co-existence maintenance is applied.
3. Has anyone had a major problem after this has been done?
Experiences would help.
Thanks in advance. All comments appreciated.
Regards,
Patrick Lyon
