I am not aware of any implementation of the Java runtime on z/OS that does not require UNIX System Services and zFS (preferred) or HFS. For that matter, I am not aware of any implementation of the Java runtime on z/OS that does not require plenty of other z/OS functions and components. Is that a problem? Or, more precisely, is that a *bigger* problem than alternatives? - - - - - Timothy Sipples IBM Consulting Enterprise Software Architect Based in Tokyo, Serving IBM Japan / Asia-Pacific E-Mail: [email protected] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
