except, instead of moving it from the virtual machine into the cp kernel
to make it run faster ... i moved it from the cp kernel into a virtual
machine and made it run significantly faster ... including no buffer
copies and being able to sustain megabyte or more per sec on 4341
machine. recent post/thread on the subject:

note this is totally different than the later rfc1044 work for
mainframe tcp/ip ... also able to sustain megabyte or more per sec on
