No, the first two are answers to grandchildren who ask why after every
answer.

The last is from a song. It is a lament about someone's life now that
their love interest has left them.

Similar to mainframes. Here we are hammering on why 3270 behaves the way
it does. But as I asked a former client of mine, did anyone ever ask if
their mainframe COULD do GUI? [Did IBM ever think about 5250 support
under VTAM or some such?]
