A utility macro that issues SWAREQ UNAUTH=YES has abended w/S0C1 because it was used in 24 bit mode. IFA says at the BALR R14,R15 but I think the problem is the BR R14 returning.
The macro is used in multiple places/programs. This is the first abend. It is hard to believe the utility that abended had not been used before this w/zOS 1.10? Has anyone else seen/heard of this? Any idea why BALR used instead of BASR? ----------------------------------------- The information contained in this communication (including any attachments hereto) is confidential and is intended solely for the personal and confidential use of the individual or entity to whom it is addressed.
