You only see the ICE017A and ICE012A messages because you've requested diagnostic messages, e.g. //SORTDIAG DD or DIAGSIM=YES. When you request diagnostic messages, DFSORT shows messages it would normally suppress. In this case, since Peerage is selected, the Blockset messages would normally be suppressed, but you see them because you requested diagnostic messages. > 3) Messages manual for ICE012A and ICE017A in System Action is "THE PROGRAM > TERMINATES" See 2). > 4) We have UQ90053 that insists in "PROGRAM TERMINATES" because previously, > without this ptf, sort ran succesfully. I don't understand what you're saying here. I ran this SORT statement with the latest DFSORT R14 PTF (includes UQ90053) and without UQ90053 and got the same result in both cases - PEERAGE was used and DFSORT completed succesfully. Can you please explain in more detail what you're saying here. Send me job output ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) if that will help clarify things. > 5) what happens in our case? Why sort continues? Because it uses Peerage which can sort a 38-byte PD sort field.
