I have a used IBM ESS 800 (Shark). Previously it was divided in half between
open systems storage and mainframe storage. Is is possible to reconfigure
the box to be all mainframe storage? Also, while attempting to determine how
to reconfigure the box from the ESS Specialist application, I deleted the LCU
definition from one of the clusters. Now I cannot redefine it. When I bring up
the page in the ESS Specialists app that does this, the option is not
selectable. The other cluster LCU definition is still there.

It's possible to reconfigure the storage as you suggest. As far as the
missing LCU is concerned, I suggest you consult your CE or ask for
specialist help.
