Read up on the EXEC subcommand of EDIT.

No; I'm alluding to a file containing a CLIST or REXX program, called
from within EDIT and generating EDIT subcommands. They've been around
for decades and I'm fairly certain that some are in SAMPLIB; I'm
positive that some are on the CBT tapes.
