In many large corporate environments your idea of relatively open Internet access is not the norm. Since most of the people at this corporation including me are not directly involved with corporate finances it could be argued the site is correctly classified as General News or Investing and blocked for most associates. It is a nuisance but as an IBM employee I expect it would not be hard for you to reference documents with IBM.COM your own companies web sites.
