If you own the "hot site" then this question may not apply. In DR tests, does anyone look at who else is using the DR site (assuming non-owned recovery location)? How many of those would be having to do DR at the same time should there be some regional disaster? So if the DR site is full, wouldn't tape be needed to go to a different recovery site? So are you married to that site, or do you have the ability to go to a different site. And if you can change sites, wouldn't you have to use tape?
