Subject: IBM Education Assistant has gems not to be found elsewhere

In searching around in order to get information for another post, I came
across what looks like a valuable source of supplementary information.

Specifically, in the material under "Enterprise Extender and SNA
enhancements" for "V1R10" under "z/OS Communications Server", I discovered
an explanation of what the "performance improvement" is which is associated
with the VTAM HPRSESLM start option, information signally lacking in the
regular manuals such as the z/OS Communications Server SNA Network
Implementation Guide and Resource Definition Reference.

The starting point for this material, for which there appears to be a new batch
for each z/OS release, is the following:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/ieduasst/stgv1r0/index.jsp

My apologies if this topic has been mentioned before and is thereby common
knowledge. Hitherto I had not heard about it so this post is for hermits like
myself!
