We just put up CA11 3.0 with the new Datacom interface. Datacom starts up fine, but when we try to start CA11 on some of the systems, we get the following:
DCOM:DB01201I - RESTART, LOG NOT OPEN, NO ACTION REQUIRED DCOM:DB01217I - RESTART, INSUFFICIENT FORCE (FXX) TASKS DCOM:DB01208E - RESTART, COMPLETE WITH ERROR(S) IAT1600 JOB DCOM (JOB21694) BYTES EXCEEDED Followed by a big snap dump. This didn't show up in our testing, but the new environment is a six-system sysplex, and this started when the fourth system joined the plex. Otherwise, everything is pretty much the same. We have the following options set: *-----------*VARIABLE START-UP * TASKS 90,32K,0,0,90 MUF ADMUF01,99,YES XCFFROM *,ADXGRP01 ECHO NO *-----------------------------* * ACCESS OPTIMIZE,ALL BREAK 50 CBS 6,256K,0,0,16 CSAFREE NO DATACOM AD DATAPOOL 8K,800 * DATETIME ISO,ISO DBCRKEL 0 DICTIONARY 2,15 EXCTLNO 0 EXPAND 8K,2 IOTASK 0,0 LOGOPTION NO LOGPEND 100 The CA-11 support folks are pointing at Datacom, and the Datacom folks back at CA-11. Has anyone seen this, and has any idea what this is about? Thanks. -------------------------------------------------------- If you are not an intended recipient of this e-mail, please notify the sender, delete it and do not read, act upon, print, disclose, copy, retain or redistribute it.
