Linda, I think what he's saying is that MVS-OE is more specialized for z/OS UNIX than this list. Therefore you are more likely to get a targeted response without wading through a lot of other non-UNIX posts. I monitor this list and MVS-OE and IBMTCP-L (for TCPIP stuff). I could ask questions on this list instead of the latter two, but the latter two are more specialized and so not as "noisy" as this list. And less likely to go off-track.
