This doesn't make sense as written of course. "Logon by means of USS" would be a correct phrase although may not be the appropriate one here. It depends on one of two most likely possibilities, whether accessing UNIX System Services (z/OS UNIX - some have suggested zUNIX[1]) is via TSO and TN3270 - in which case USS may actually have been involved - or whether via TELNET. - [1] And some - with extreme rudeness - have greeted the idea with a reaction which has apparently left them - while rolling on the floor - with the inability to be anally retentive. Which is a shame because the evidence is that the accusation would often be most appropriate! - Chris Mason On Wed, 13 Apr 2011 13:28:48 -0500, Neale Ferguson <[email protected]> wrote: <gobbledegook as represented by the IBM-MAIN archive "Quote Original Message"!> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
