On the contrary, I mean labels with significant semantic content, as descriptive and as long (or short) as your personal style prefers or corporate standards demand (and the language allows). Perhaps my presumption of structured coding and appropriately parameterized subroutines/paragraphs/sections that don't duplicate the business function performed elsewhere in the code produces my point of view.
