But remember, SFTP is -not- at all related to FTP. If you're really talking
about FTP and whether it is secured or not you should be asking about FTPS,
which is a usage of TLS by FTP for improved security.

SFTP is something totally different, and not FTP at all. You get SFTP
(really, sftp) from the IBM Ported Tools for z/OS or other add-on products.
