Can EXCP(VR) read offline volumes now?

Checks for off-line volumes are made by allocation and open; if you build your own DEB, etc. EXCP will happily access an off-line volume.

I haven't read up on any of the changes to EXCP for quite some
time.
I once (25 years ago) had a tool that used STARTIO to read the
label of an offline volume. It would read the VOL1 label then
issue a WTOR indicating the volser of the offline volume.
(I just found the code and the date on it is "APR 5,1988").

I have a forty-year old program to clip volumes off-line, and it's always used EXCP.

If anyone wants this ANCIENT code I still have a copy...just
email me and I'll forward you a copy. No guarantees as I doubt
it will still work.

If 1988 code is ANCIENT, what does that make 1970 code? <G>
