The 2250 was definitely a big attached-processor graphics display station.
Mr. Gilmore should remember it well.

The 2260 was a pretty dumb terminal. I wrote a system pre-CICS that
supported the 2260. I wrote the low level screen formatting. I don't recall
its being supported as a console either. The first glass console I remember
was a 327x.

Ah, the 1052 ... EOB and Cancel. Who designs a system where Return does not
mean Enter - where the most common key used is an obscure function key?

Why is this list better at nostalgia than anything else?

The 2250 was a huge, expensive device, that almost certainly was not 
used as a console. But then I don't recall using 2260s as consoles, either.
