I use TN3270 Plus 2.3.6 (2003). I have no experience with any use for the mouse other than to position the cursor and select data for cut-and-paste. Under Mouse in the Help display I see "Use the keyboard Pane to tailor the PC keyboard and the mouse" but that's all I see.
In my keyboard setup I see "cursor select" mapped to "MouseLeftDoubleClick." I've never used it.
