Now here is a confusion:
One of the PTFs in question, UA22552, does have this AI
AI - 12/28/2005
This PTF will fail on HDS DASD units, they will not come On-line
after the application of this PTF.
The HDS fix is expected early 2006, the fix ID is unknown.
The failing command is x'27' subcommand x'0D'. Works on head of
string and fails on all other units, so only head of string
comes
On-line. Contact HDS for details
However, UA22552 is superceded by UA22489, which does NOT have the same
AI. UA22489 fixes APAR OA13954 which makes no mention of HDS.
So, does UA22489 have the same problem with HDS as UA22552? Or does it
circumvent the HDS problem??
