We had a three site complex with JES2 at two 
sites and JES3 at another.
We always called the sub-systems 'JES', with 
no number. It made automation easier.

When we converted the JES3 shop to JES2, we 
never changed the sub-system names.

The reason we converted was because we 
couldn't find any SYSPROGs to support JES3, 
after we converted to MVS/XA.
