The major omission from this list is HSM, one of the earliest exploiters of RLS. Using RLS for the HSM CDS allows space management housekeeping to run concurrently on any number of sysplex members, greatly reducing the elapsed time of disruptive processes while maintaining full data integrity of the control data set.
