Now I'm confused by what you mean by "yes" and what you
mean by "no".  It's much my fault for crafting a sentence with
two parallel clauses, one in the affirmative and the other in
the negative with each having or implying a subordinate
clause in the negative.

(I need a more pejorative word than "craft".)
