A general point about SNA sense codes: Once you look up the supposed explanation for SNA sense codes you may have more questions than you started with. Nevertheless, if you are sensible enough to look up the explanation in the manual corresponding to the product which issued the message containing the SNA sense codes, you stand the best chance of finding a useful answer. This was especially do in the case of NCP and NPSI but is also handy in the case of the CS IP and SNA Codes manual, the manual relevant here, since there you find the ever so helpful "VTAM Hints". However if you don't understand the language the "VTAM Hints" are using, you'd better find someone who does.
