Hi,

P.S. Your z10 would probably run better and has some features that are only
available on later releases. z/OS 1.7 is way out of regular service and I
believe Life Cycle Extensions is no longer valid.

Subject: PSP Bucket for 2107DEVICE (DS8300)

hello to all,

We plan to migrate from ESS800 disk-bay to a new DS8300. we are currently in a
zOS1.7 on z10BC.

I took a test in HCD, the Device Type 2107 is here !

Are we obliged to apply the PSP Bucket to have support of the DEVICE 2107
(DS8300) or is it already included under zOS?

Thank you very much for your answers.

Regards/Cordialement.
